Julie Isaacs, LCSW — Founder & Clinical Director
A therapist with experience,
warmth, and a practical lens.
I'm Julie Isaacs, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 28+ years of experience helping adults navigate some of life's most challenging moments.
My path to motherhood wasn't what I expected.
In my early 40s, I knew I wanted to become a mother. Because of my medical history, my OB-GYN explained that carrying a pregnancy would be extremely high risk. I had to rethink the future I'd imagined.
I ultimately chose adoption, and becoming my daughter's mother has been one of the most meaningful parts of my life. But I also know adoption isn't everyone's path, and no one should be told how to build their family.
That experience is part of why I care so deeply about supporting people facing reproductive uncertainty. I won't pretend to know exactly what your journey feels like. I'll listen, respect your choices, and help you find your way through it.
A place where you can be a person, not just a diagnosis.
After nearly three decades in behavioral health, I've seen how much people carry while looking perfectly fine on the outside. I've supported thousands of clients and led clinical programs serving many more. What stays with me is that people need more than someone who understands a diagnosis. They need someone who sees them.
I created Inflection Therapy & Consulting for those moments when life takes an unexpected turn. A place to be honest about what's hard, make room for what matters, and find a way forward that feels like your own.
Real conversations. Practical tools. No judgment.
I'm warm, direct, and collaborative. I'll listen closely, ask questions, and sometimes gently challenge a pattern that's keeping you stuck. Therapy isn't just about talking for an hour; it's about finding what helps in your actual life.
I draw from CBT, ACT, DBT-informed skills, and relationship-focused approaches, but I don't believe in squeezing you into a one-size-fits-all model. We'll work together on what matters to you, whether that's coping with uncertainty, rebuilding trust, setting boundaries, or making a difficult decision.
There may be tears. There may be laughter. You can tell me when something isn't working. You don't need to have it all figured out before we begin.
A space where you can be fully yourself—not another place you have to hold everything together.
Cultural Identity, Faith & Inclusive Care
I bring an understanding of Jewish culture, traditions, and identity to my work, including the ways family, community, cultural expectations, and lived experiences can shape emotional well-being. I recognize that experiences of antisemitism, discrimination, and belonging can also affect mental health.
I welcome clients of all faiths, spiritual traditions, and secular backgrounds. Whether your beliefs are central to your life or not part of it at all, therapy is a space where your values, experiences, and identity are respected. We explore these aspects of your life only when they are meaningful to you.
